FESTIVALS …  VESAK … ART … COMPETITION … CELEBRATIONS

Inbuilt into the CELEBRATION of FESTIVALS is the dimension of the youth growing up in Peace & Social Harmony living unbiased as regards race, culture, language or religion.

SOCIAL-RELIGIOUS HARMONY … Shanti children who are Buddhist, Muslim, Christian and Hindu celebrate VESAK – a Buddhist festival in making Vesak lanterns. At the end of the day Sinhala Buddhist judges evaluate their creations. The results reveal that the first prizes are won by children who are  non Buddhists.
